    In the West Bank, Israeli forces invade a number of areas, kidnapping at least 15 Palestinians. In the Gaza Strip, meanwhile, the European Union has indicated that it will resume the funding of fuel for the region’s only power plant, but only if it receives assurances that Hamas will not impose taxes on electricity bills.
