    In the West Bank, Israeli bulldozers destroy farmland near Um Salamunah village, south of Bethlehem, targeting farmers with plastic bullets, tear gas, and sound bombs. Palestinians near Hebron were abducted by the Israeli military. In Nablus, operation “Hot Winter” seemed to come to a close. In the Gaza Strip Israeli gunships opened fire on fisherman and civilians at Tal Al Sultan beach near Rafah. East of Rafah, farmers were attacked by tank fire. The Al Quds Brigades, an offshoot of Islamic Jihad, claimed a rocket attack on Israeli areas outside the northern end of the Gaza Strip in retaliation.
